The history of Oslo dates back to the time of the Vikings. Oslo is divided into a eastern and a western part by the river Akerselva. Along the river there is a path which passes by nice parks and a large waterfall. In the western part of Oslo you can find the King’s Residence, the University and the main shopping street with luxurious stores.

The public transportation is Oslo includes buses and the metro. Note, buying a ticket from the driver is more expensive than if you buy it in advance.
