Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden, a well-known beautiful garden and a peaceful oasis in the city of Zagreb. Here you can find a place to relax in nature with your children. The Botanical Garden, a well-known beautiful garden and a peaceful oasis in the city of Zagreb. Here you can find a place to relax in nature with your children. In the garden you can find an arboretum, which is developed in the style of an English landscape garden in which winding paths border smaller areas of irregular shape. The garden offers you a walk around various plants (herbaceous, roses and others).

You can find also part, which is constructed in a French style characterized by strict geometrical lines. In the park greenhouse you can also find tropical and subtropical plants. Marsh plants can be seen in the artificial lakes and pools on the parterre. In addition to housing many plant species, the garden also offer refuge to many animals; some permanent inhabitants, while others are mere “visitors”.

The Botanical Garden is located in the centre of Zagreb, just one tram station away from the Central Railway Station, or a 10-minute walk from the main square (The Jelacic Square). There is no entrance fee for the park.
