When traveling with your baby you should visit the Ocenario de Lisboa. It displays both permanent and temporary exhibitions. It has a large main aquarium filled with 5 million litres of sea water and 4 marine habitats creating the illusion of one single aquarium, a sole ocean. This exhibition in the Oceanário features terrestrial and marine ecosystems, as well as the temperate, tropical and cold water ecosystems of the Earth’s oceans. The Ocenario has a Fado for kids, this is a concert for babies where the beauty of traditional Portuguese music combines with a fantastic scenario of dream and magic.
The Ocenario has a café and a restaurant and it is equipped with baby changing rooms, however it does not contain baby feeding areas. Children under the age of 4 enter free of charge.
The Oceanário de Lisboa is located at the Doca dos Olivais, Parque das Nações. The location can be reached by several public transportation lines. You can e.g. take the red underground line.
