A visit at the Rijksmuseum is a journey through the history of the Netherlands – from the Middle Ages to the 20th century and you will feel like you have travelled back in time. The history of the Netherlands is presented chronologically and in an international context, on 4 floors and 80 galleries.
Visitors under the age of 18 enter free of charge. You can get to the museum by public transportation from the Central Station, taking the tram line 2 or 5 towards Rijksmuseum. There is wheelchair access and baby changing rooms.
