Small city located in South-West Bohemia, close to German borders is well known to locals by its Chod festival (Chodske slavnosti) that take place every year in August with many local and foreign folk artists entertaining the visitors. The city is popular for hikers for it’s industry-untouched nature and architecture lovers will admire the picturesque city square.
Plan a trip to Cerchov hill, where you can climb to the look out Kurz tower. There are quite few restaurants with indoor or outdoor children’s playground, Chodska chalupa or Fit caf café. Easiest how to get to Domazlice is either by car (closest cities are Pilsen, Prague or Nurnberg) or take the bus from Prague or Pilsen.
