In our opinion one of the best attractions in Nantes is 15th century-built Château de Ducs de Bretagne, which is a castle in the centre of Nantes. You can also e.g. travel to an island called Île de Versailles which has many gardens, plants, trees, paths and bridges to explore. There are a few places which are a must with your kids such as the Les Machines de L’ile Nantess Nantes steampunk playground, which is a wonderland for kids. During the summer the city changes its look. It is called Le Voyage à Nantes. During these days the city is full of attractions, art and theatres, so it is a good option to visit the city during these days.
