There are two touts awaiting visitors at the Český Krumlov Castle. The first option includes the Renaissance and Baroque apartments (basic tour circuit I). This is a tour of the original historical castle interiors built during the Renaissance and Baroque period and it includes, among others, the chateau of St. Jiří, the Eggenberg Hall with a “golden” carriage and the famouse Rococo Masquerade Hall. The second option includes the apartments from the 1st and 2nd half of the 19th century (basic touring circuit II). This tour presents visitors with the history of the Schwarzenbergs. It starts with a visit to the portrait gallery, displaying paintings of the most important Schwarzenberg family members from 15th century all the way to the 20th century. The route continues through the original historical interiors build during the 1st and 2nd half of the 19th century and ends with a tour of the unique connecting corridors of the mantle bridge. There are no separate guided tours or children’s expositions, however there are many restaurants in the chateau area. Children up to 6 years of age enter free of charge.
