Be sure to book your guided tour well in advance, because the number o participants in limited and spots fill up quickly.
It is possible to watch the Parliament while in session from the public balcony within the building on Tuesdays and Fridays, however this is not something you can do with your little ones. Even though you might not be able to participate in one of the tours the building itself is worth seeing and warm days you can sit on the steps of the building and enjoy the view or making some photos to as memories of your trip.
